One-of-a-kind Commissioned Art Pieces for the Home

This sink is a depiction of the life cycle of the silk worm from egg through moltings, cocoon, larve, moth, mating and finally the laying of the eggs. It begins at the base and spirals up to the rim.
These pieces were commissioned to go into a guest house bathroom of a woman who has raised the silk worms, harvested the silk, dyed, spun and woven a tapestry. The image on the pitcher is from that piece. It depicts the silk road circa 100A.D.
